Our world is undergoing a structural breakdown that is cosmological in addition to it being ecological.
The crises we are witnessing today are symptoms of a deeper architecture of distortion that has shaped human consciousness, behavior, and relationship for thousands of years.
My doctoral research and documentary, The Midwife of Memory: Rebirthing a World of Ceremony, Balance, and Continuity through Cosmogenic Dreaming, were created to reveal this architecture and to offer a framework for realignment.
In addition to being a creative accompaniment to my dissertation, this documentary is a blueprint, a way to see what most people cannot perceive:
1. The Planetary Distortion Beneath Our Current Crises
The challenges we face today - environmental collapse, social fragmentation, and spiritual confusion- are not random.
They arise from a root architecture of distortion that has reorganized how humans relate to themselves, to each other, and to the Earth.
Most people cannot see this architecture because:
· we were all born inside it; the majority remained rooted within it and are not aware of its nuance in order to evolve beyond it,
· it shapes perception and interpretation long before people realize it’s shaping them
· and it has colonized culture, religion, progress, and identity, making it extraordinarily difficult to recognize, let alone transcend
This distortion is embodied in the mind, the nervous system, the imagination, and the cosmology one inherits.
2. Why This Documentary Exists
This film was requested by the primordial Mothers across the lands and waters who guided my research and was not conceptually created. It emerged from ancestral dreaming, fieldwork across continents, and the intelligence of place-based cosmogenic memory.
Its purpose is simple:
To help people recognize the architecture shaping their lives so they can stop reenacting distortion and begin moving in alignment with origin, integrity, and relational reciprocity.
3. How My Frameworks Support This Work
Many people receive guidance from land, trees, waters, animals, and local ecosystems. This is Earth-connectedness, and these are real and meaningful relationships. However, Earth-centered alignment, the kind required for planetary correction, comes from the Earth’s sovereign field (embodiment), which operates at a scale beyond any single landscape or lineage. Earth chooses who carries Her directives, and that relationship is not cultural, inherited, or self-assigned. This is a methodology of perception, and not a belief system.
It is a way of seeing reality through the lenses of primordial memory, emergence, and cosmogenic intelligence.
4. Why This Matters for Leadership, Policy, and Planetary Futures
The collective cannot solve planetary problems through the same human-centered worldview that generated the distortion.
The collective cannot restore ecosystems without restoring relational intelligence and Earth-centered reciprocity; something far deeper than connection to land or geography alone.
The collective cannot claim sustainability without addressing the cosmology that underpins extraction.
Humanity is at an inflection point, very close to the precipice.
Whether humanity crosses it responsibly depends on our ability to recalibrate through:
· relationship (to self, Earth, and each other),
· responsibility (for the impact of our worldview),
· remembrance (of who we are in the cosmogenic order).
5. An Invitation
This documentary is an offering to those who feel the shift, who sense that the old frameworks cannot carry us forward, and who are ready to engage with the deeper architecture of planetary change.
